Lead Software Engineer, Data Platform

• The role is fully remote.
• Salary: $10-14k USD / month
• Preferred time zone: CEST or within a 4-hour difference.

Are you an experienced software engineer looking for a new challenge? Join us as a Lead Software Engineer in our remote R&D team (USA, Israel, Europe) and work on innovative database and data platform projects.

Your Role:

• Become the first engineer in our new R&D office, leading innovative database solutions.
• Utilize your programming skills to design, code, integrate, and debug software systems.
• Collaborate globally, working closely with our team of experts from around the world.

What We Need:

• 5-6 years of software engineering experience, focusing on database engines or data platforms.
• 3 years of experience developing database engines or data platform tool internals (e.g. PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Cassandra, Snowflake)
• Proficiency in one programming language - C, C++, Java, Scala, Go, or Python - with multithreading programming experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
